I'm 4 Weeks Old!!!

Hi Everyone! I have been here for a whole month now! So far, it's been great! Mommy and Daddy have been keeping us busy as usual. This week, I have been keeping Mommy company while running errands since she's really getting the hang of things. She even treated herself to a manicure and pedicure and all the cute little ladies at the salon fawned all over me. So, we both had a blast!

We have also been meeting more of our friends. This week, I met Chloe Bearfield and Family and ALL of the Panichella's. I can't wait until we can have more playdates with my new friends.

On Friday, we took my newborn photos. We had this really cool lady come to our house and take pictures starring me and some with Mommy and Daddy. We can't wait to share them with you!

We also had a nice long weekend to celebrate Memorial Day! Daddy took an extra day off, so we had four days together which was wonderful. Daddy watched me solo for a few hours so Mommy could go to yoga. She was so peaceful when she came back.

Oh and I weigh 9lbs., 2oz! I am growing leaps and bounds!

Future UMass Student??

Go UMASS! My Daddy told me how much fun he had in college, so I put on my best drunk face and even worked on my sign language! I didn't even need any help doing it, I did it all by myself. Of course the thought of college already makes my mom sad to even think that one day I'll leave home, but I at least gave them a good laugh for now. These will be the pictures I can only hope they bring out when I'm older versus naked baby pictures of me that I heard we took this week.

Tummy Time!

This week we started tummy time! I lasted 5 whole minutes before I had enough fun and wanted Mommy to hold me. She was so proud of me and we took video so Daddy could see me!

Mommy also got her first haircut in a good long while, so we both went to the hair salon. Mommy looks beautiful and I loved the sound of the dryer. So it was a great trip for both of us!

Week 3 - My How Time Flies

Hi All - I'm Three Weeks Old Today! It's amazing how quickly time really does go by. We've had a busy week, which is good because I like to keep busy and stay on the go. Plus, it helps me sleep really soundly. Plus, Daddy went back to work, so we tried to stay busy so we didn't miss Daddy so much.

So here are the highlights for this week:

Mommy & I went to her midwife check-up and she was given a clean bill of health! I was so glad that she is doing so well and it shows that taking good care of herself helped take such good care of me!

I got to meet some of Mommy & Daddy's friends this week. I met Nancy at Peet's Coffee Shop (Mommy looooooves the coffee there!), met Rebecca and Cooper for a walk and a Dairy Queen sundae (YUMMMMM), Amy P and Rich and Emily. I loved meeting them all and hope to see them all again soon and can't wait to start meeting some more of my fellow baby friends soon.

Mommy went to yoga for the first time since I've arrived. I missed her so much while she was gone, but Daddy took good care of me and Mommy felt tons better after getting some exercise. I can't wait to go to yoga with her someday. She has been doing some yoga with me now and I love it!

I hope all of you are doing great and I really hope that I can see and meet you all soon! The doctor said that I can meet all of my baby friends now, so let's have playdates soon.

Oh and check out my toes...I have long skinny toes just like Mommy! Hee! Hee!

I'm Two Weeks Old Today!

We can't believe that I'm Two Weeks Old Today! My how time flies. I know that Mommy and Daddy were hoping that I would be sleeping more, but it will be awhile before that happens. What they realized is that a full night sleep for a baby is only 5 hours, but I think they would be happy with that. =)

So far, Week 2 has been great! I had a good check up with my doctor and I weigh 8lbs., 2 oz! My pedi was so happy with that and said that Mommy and Daddy are taking good care of me.

We did lots of things this week: Walked the dogs, a trip to Costco for the first time, went to the Mall and took my first trip to Boston today. It has been so much fun being on the go. I know Mommy is sad that Daddy has to go back to work, but we'll fine fun things to do and explore together. We'll even surprise him this summer with lunch visits!

Me & My Great Bubbe!

On Thursday, I met my Great Grandmother for the very first time. It is my Daddy's Grandmother and they call her Bubbe which makes her my Great Bubbe. I was so excited to meet her because Mommy and Daddy have been telling me that she asks about me every time they go and visit her. I am so glad that I was able to make her smile and meet her. We had four generations of Newman's all together which was pretty amazing. It was a beautiful day and we look forward to more visits with her this summer!

Happy Mother's Day to my Mommy!

Today was a great day! Daddy, Putter, Derby and I celebrated Mommy and all the great things she does for us. Daddy bought her beautiful flowers and we each got her a card. Then Daddy made her a nice breakfast and let her take a nice long shower. She was happy to have a little extra time to herself and even put on earrings and a new necklace from my Grandma.

Nonnie and Steve came to visit and wish Mommy a Happy Mother's Day, too! I was napping the whole time they were here, but it was nice to have them hold me and give me a snuggle.

Our friends Rohan and Matt came for a visit too. I can't wait to meet their son Aiden this summer. Mommy tells me how many friends I already have. How lucky am I!?! I can't wait to meet everyone soon.

Well, I hope all of you Mamas out there had a wonderful day. It was so great to have our first Mother's Day at our house.

P.S. Mom wanted to share pics of her other babies, Putter and Derby. They are doing really well and are getting used to my early AM crying. I can't wait to get big and play with them!

I'm One Week Old Today!

Hi! Today, I am One Whole Week Old Today! So far, we are all doing great. We had a busy afternoon. Mom and Dad gave me a sponge bath. It wasn't that much fun, but now I smell nice and clean and the lotion (thanks Briley!)felt good, like a little massage.

Mom and Dad also took a little mini photo shoot trying to capture my good side to show me off! I can't exactly hold my head up, so you'll have to forgive me. Mom and Dad still keep telling me how cute I am no matter what, so I'll have to take their word for it.

Happy Cinco de Baby!

Hi Everyone - We finally came home Monday afternoon, so I am trying to get used to life on the outside. I know remember the sound of Putter and Derby, but now I can REALLY hear them!

I have mostly been eating and sleeping and Mom is being a trooper and taking care of me in the wee hours of the night. Dad is becoming the King of Diaper Changing and Swaddling. He cleans me up and tucks me in tight, what more could I ask for?!?!

Today was pretty eventful! We went for my first doctor's appointment and everything went really well! I only lost 5 oz., so as long as I gain weight by next week, I am in perfect shape!

We also went for our first family walk today. Mom, Dad, Putter, Derby and I went for a nice slow walk. It was nice to get some fresh air and feel all the familiar bumps.

Introducing Clive Benjamin Newman

Hi Friends and Family! I finally decided to make my entrance and boy did I! My mom says the first thing I'm supposed to do (Yes, she's already starting on the whole manners thing) is to share my stats.

My birthday is 5/1/10 - Happy May Day to me!
I weigh 7 lbs, 10.3 oz
I'm 20 inches long.

I have lots of hair which is more in the back, so my mom needs to take a picture to share my beautiful mane, which looks like my mom's when she was a baby. The nurses loved my feet (they said their big and smile, but not quite sure what that means) and my nice full lips.

Mom and Dad have been great taking such good care of me and I'll share more about my adventures. Until then!
