Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Turkey Day Everyone!

Us Newman's have so much to be thankful for this year.  This year we were able to have Thanksgiving in our new house.  As a special treat,  Mommy let me watch a little of the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.  The marching bands and dancing were so much fun.  Together, Mommy and I were dancing machines!

For our early dinner, we ended up having 9 adults and 5 kids, so it was crazy fun! Mommy set the table with our nice dishes, candles and her grandma's special silver.  It looked so pretty.  We also had a set up for all of the kids to sit and eat dinner together.

The food was DELICIOUS!  I liked everything (except the fresh cranberry sauce was a little too tart for me)!  Daddy did most of the main dishes and the butternut squash dish was a crowd favorite.

Rebecca made turkey shaped desserts which were also a crowd favorite and looked so cool.

We had such a fun time with everyone. We are especially thankful for our family (and our pets), our friends and those that couldn't be with us on this special day.

We hope you all had a great day filled with food, family, friends and football!

Love,
Clive

Swimming with Julia...

Hi All - I finished my swimming lessons at the Boys and Girls Club.  Daddy and I did the lessons together.  Mommy thought it would be a good idea if Daddy and I did something fun together.  I really liked it except for when I had to float on my back.  I didn't think that was too much fun.

Julia was my teacher.  She was really nice.  We practiced kicking, floating, jumping and even going under water.  I didn't even cry when I had to go under water!  Mommy was so proud of me.

I can't wait to go swimming again in the Spring so I will be ready for summertime swimmin'!

Bye!  Clive

Hello Fall! Guess What, I'm 1.5 Years Old!

Hi!  I am 1.5 years old!  Seriouslyl!?!?  I can't even believe it myself!

I have been learning to do so many things on my own in my Toddler Classroom.  I brush my teeth, wash my hands, practice drinking out of a cup and even try sitting on the potty!  All of my friends at school help me with some of the new things, like lining up to go outside or putting on my jacket.  I have such good friends!

One of my favorite things to do at school is go to the art room.  Adrienne is the art teacher and we have been doing a lot of fun art projects.  Adrienne tries to help and make sure I don't eat too much paint.  She always tells Mommy what colors I have been painting with, so she can be on the look out.

I really like sleeping with a blanket now.  I don't have a pillow yet, but I love to put my head on the soft comfy pillows.  Mommy says when I move to my big boy bed next year I can have a pillow of my own.

The leaves have finally fallen off of the trees.  We have been trying to spend as much time outside and enjoy the Fall season before winter is here.

I am really getting the hang of pushing myself around on my bike.  My legs are almost long enough to reach the pedals.  So, I'll keep scooting around and by next spring, I'll be an expert!

I hope you are all having a great Fall season.  We hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving with your loved ones.  I can't wait to try all of our family food favorites!

Love,
Clive
