Transitioning into Fall....

Happy September Everyone!

We have had a busy month!  This was Mommy's last month at home with me.  We have had a great summer together, so the thought of being away from her seems strange.  We have done a lot of fun things together:  we took a Mom and Baby Class, Mommy and Baby yoga, coffee and lunch meet ups...We took Clive to school and picked him up together, went for walks with Derby and ran errands.  Spending lots of quality time with Mommy has been great.

Approaching my three month mark, I have really been practicing my tummy time and sitting more upright.  At my last doctor's visit, I am proud to report my current stats :  11 lbs., 5 oz and 22.5" long!  I am still measuring about average which Mommy says is PERFECT!


Clive has been having more fun with me since now I can see him really well and give him smiles.  Mommy brought out what is called a Bumbo!  It is a special seat that I can sit in to protect my neck and head.  I can sit upright and see the world around me!  It is so cool! 

Clive has been working on his potty training!  He is doing AWESOME!  He has this cool potty in the shape of a frog.  He loves it.  He tells me that someday I can use it too.  Wow!  Does this whole reading thing really start at the age of 2?

Clive and I have been having more fun together.  We like to lay out soft pillows so I can be comfy.  Clivey thinks it's funny to roll around on the pillows!  Here are some favorite pictures of us playing with Daddy!

We have been enjoying the last remnants of summer.  We still love wearing shorts and t-shirts.  I have to wear clothes to keep me extra warm, but we have to enjoy not having to bundle up!

The end of September marked the day Mommy had to go back to work and Natalie had to start school.  Doesn't Mommy look so pretty?  Clive said I looked pretty too!  Mommy and I both had a good first day even though it was hard to be apart.  But, Mommy always makes sure that she spends good quality time with us when we are together!

That was our month!  We hope you are enjoying the beginnings of Fall.
