Winter's First Snowfall

We finally got our first snowfall!  We were wondering if we were going to get any snow in December!  I really loved putting on my snowpants and getting bundled up to play.  Daddy likes the snow too and we went sledding!  We have the perfect hill in our backyard and went up and down.

You know who had more fun the me?  DERBY!?!?!  She LOVES the snow!!  She ran up and down the hill with us while we went sledding!  She was being so silly.

We couldn't stay out too long because it was really cold.  Once we went in, Mommy made us some hot chocolate.  It was yummmmmmmmmmy!

Until the next fun adventure....

It's the 1/2 yearly Mark!

I am 6 months old Today!  A whole half a year.  What a great 6 months it has been!

I have grown so much.  I had a great doctor appointment and I didn't cry too much when I got my shots.  I was very brave.  Clive was there to hold my hand and make sure I was ok.  He always looks out for me.

I am currently weighing in at 14 lbs, 12 oz.  Mommy can't believe it!

I am really getting to be an expert in sitting up!  Mommy & Daddy still give me a Boppy pillow for extra support, but I really do a good job on my own.  I never really rolled over.  I just skipped right over that step.  There is too much going on and I much rather sit up and SEE it all!

I am really starting to enjoy bath time and Mommy says that very soon I can start taking a bath with Clive in the big tubby!  I can't wait.

I started to eat real big people food!  Just like Clivey, I had peas as my first food!  I wasn't too sure what to do at first, but it was pretty good!

I am really getting into a good routine and I go to bed around 7:15 every night and wake up around 7am the next morning.  Now, we read books before bed and I love touching the books.  One of my favorite things is when Clive will act out the characters in the books or sit in Mommy's lap and read with us.  I love when Clivey spends time with me.

Daddy always talks about how happy I am.  Well, can you blame me?!?!  I have EVERYTHING to be happy about!  I have my Mommy, Daddy, Clivey and Derby!  Not to mention, we have our family, school friends and family friends!  I am one lucky girl!

'
Mommy set up my bouncy seat too!  I love sitting up and playing with my new toy.  Clivey likes it too!  He shows me how to play with my new toys!

Well, that wraps up my 6th month everyone!  I look forward to sharing more about my adventures with you soon!

Love,
Natalie

Tis the Season!

Hi Everyone!  Clive said that I could have a turn telling you what we have been up to!  Afterall, I'm getting to be a big girl and I have a lot to say!

The month started off with some BIG changes.

First, Mommy got a  new job at Crabtree & Evelyn.  Clivey thought she was working at "Christmas Tree!"  That is so silly.  It sounds almost the same, but not quite.  Mommy is really happy to  have a new job and now she gets to talk about soap, lotion and candles.  Sounds fun!

Our school at Reebok was sad to see us go, but Mommy did a good job to make sure that we had a chance to say our good-byes.  Clive even had a special good-bye party.  Clive misses his friends and teachers, but we are going to try and stay in touch and visit with from time to time.

Now that Mommy got a new job, Clive and I go to a new school.  We did some practice visits at our new place.  Everyone is nice in welcoming us at school.  Our new school has a turtle named Franklin!  There are a lot of new friends and teachers, but soon it will become our home away from home.

We did some decorating for the holidays too!  We have new stockings, a beautiful tree and fun decorations and pictures of Clivey when he was little like me.    We also have a new friend.  His name is Ralph the Elf.  He makes sure that we are being good (especially Clivey).  He reports back to Santa Claus in the North Pole every night.  We want to make sure Santa comes to our house and brings us presents, so Clivey is really making sure he's a good boy!

Any other new things to report?  Well, I am 14 lbs., 12 oz!  I really LOVE to sit up and put things in my mouth.  Clive always gives me toys that I can play with too.  I am starting to make "Ma-Ma" and "Ya-Ya" sounds.

Clivey has been doing a lot of marching, playing with his guitar and singing B-I-N-G-O. I think he is going to be really good at playing music.  I love watching him play and sing.  He's the best big brother a sister could ask for.  He might take one of my toys from me, but he always "TRADES."

That's about it!  Mommy will be posting her annual letter about what we have been up to this year.  It's been a busy one!

Happy Holidays!

Love,
Natalie & Clive

Merry Christmas Everyone!

We hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

This year was especially exciting.  We now have Natalie to share our Christmas with!  Sharing this special day as a family was so much fun.

As we were getting ready for Santa, we made a Gingerbread House with Kailene.  Kailene called it the Gingerbread Shack!  She was right.  The roof wasn't very sturdy, so we modified.

We left Clive-baked cookies and milk for Santa.  Most importantly, we can't forget the reindeer!  They get really hungry too you know.  So we left them carrots.

On Christmas morning, we woke up and BOY WHAT A SIGHT!  We had SO MANY PRESENTS!  Our Ralph the Elf must have told Santa that we were a good boy and girl because he left so many fun presents for us.

Derby got presents too and was so excited to rip into her new chewy toys!

Mommy explained that the first thing we do is open our stockings!  I was so excited and I wanted to open everything.  So while I started opening my stockings, Daddy made coffee and got breakfast going for us.

After our stockings, we got to open all of the presents!  We had sooooo many.  I especially loved my magna-tiles, crane truck, doctor set and music instruments.

In the afternoon, Nonnie and Steve came over.  We had a special Christmas dinner with the whole family which was really nice.  Mommy even let me eat from a cool china plate.  I was very careful and a good boy.

Mommy and I got some fresh air since it wasn't that cold out.  Papa gave me a t-ball set, so we thought we could give it a try!  It was really fun.  We played a little golf too!  I can't wait until the spring where we can play ball more often.

And here is my pretty sister, Natalie!  She is always smiling and happy.  She had a really bad cold, but still was trying to give us all smiles.

This is her more serious look.  Isn't she still so cute!?!

Today was another wonderful Christmas.  Mostly because we were a family.  We hope yours was extra special too!

Love,
Clive and Natalie
