Trick or Treat

TRICK OR TREAT!!!!

Happy Halloween Everyone!  I hope you all had a great Halloween.  This year I was a cowboy and my favorite part was my boots.  They had lights on them.   Mommy still lets me wear them with my pj's.  They are the best!

The day before Halloween, we decorated and carved our pumpkins.  It was fun cleaning out the pumpkins and carving them.  Since my favorite thing these days are spiders, Daddy carved a really cool spider on the pumpkin.  We also carved a really happy Jack-o-Lantern.

At school, we had a Halloween parade.  All of the kids went for a walk and we all got to see our Mommy's and Daddy's.  They decorated the office and have out treat for all of the kids.  It was so much fun.  As a special treat, Nonnie came to see me too.  I was so happy to see her.

When we got home, we went trick-o-treating in the neighborhood.  When we knocked on the front door, they would open the door and I would walk in.  Since when do you just stand at someone's front door.  It's the right thing to do!

I helped pick out yummy candy for Mommy and Daddy too since I don't eat candy. What they don't know is that next year...I'm going to have some!

Happy Trick or Treat!!!

Love,
Clive

I'm 16 Months Old!!!

Hi Everyone!!!

September has been a really fun month!  The weather has been amazing!  I have had a lot going on and I can't wait to tell you all about it!

Our month started with one of Mommy's bestest friends Christine ("Neen") coming to visit us.  Auntie Christine lives in Orlando FL and took a special trip to visit us.  Even thought it was the first time I met her, it felt like I've met her a zillion times.  She read me stories, gave me a bath, played with me, changed my diapers, took me to the park and fed me!  She was so amazing and I'm really glad that I was able to spend special time with her.  I can't wait for us to visit her in Florida one of these days.  Mommy was sad to see her go, but hopefully we'll see her again soon.

Then, we took a vacation!   Daddy, Mommy, Derby and I went to Martha's Vineyard.  We weren't sure how the weather was going to be...but it was PERFECT!   We went to the beach every single day.  Mommy strapped me on her back and we would take the walk over to Lambert's Cove.  We thought it was the perfect beach.

This was my first real summer exploring the beach:  the water, the sand, rocks, people, everything!  I LOVED IT! I splashed around, made shapes in the sand, went for walks, threw walks in the ocean, said hi to all the nice people and dogs.  I can't wait to go back to the beach next summer.

We also got to spend time with the Hall's!  Cooper and Sawyer came to the Vineyard for a few days, so we had fun  hanging out with them too!  I am so lucky to have such good friends!

THEN....my Nonnie came to visit us!  She stayed for a couple of days and we got to go to the beach together, do a little shopping, eat at a couple of restaurants...it was really fun to spend time with her.  She tells me lots of stories and makes me smile.  I love you, Nonnie.

I was really excited to spend time with my family for a whole entire week.

The rest of the month has been the usual:  exploring, dancing,  saying 3-4 syllables words (like MOTORCYCLE!!!!).  My favorite books are:  Hands are not for Hitting, Teeth are not for Biting, Wally the Green Monster and Curious George Rides.  My favorite songs are Row, Row Row Your Boat, Twinkle Twinkle, Itsy Bitsy Spider and ABCs.

I am also getting ready to go to my new classroom at school:  TODDLER 1.  That's right, I'm going to the Toddler room finally.  I am ready for a new challenge.  I have been doing some practice before I move over, so hopefully it will be smooth sailing.  It's going to be so fun and I will get to see some of my old friends.  I will also get to do music, spanish, yoga and drink out of a real cup!

Mommy and Daddy are so proud that I am such a big boy!

Happy Fall!

Love,
Clive

Kiss and Make Up....

Hi Friends and Family!

Since I haven't posted in awhile, I thought I could make up for some lost time with a few videos so you can see me in action..

I was having so much fun with my water table and Daddy squirting the hose on me!  I couldn't be any happier at this very moment!

A little message for my Nonnie!

I've added some new dance moves....check them out!

Love to you all!

I'm 15 Months Old!

Helllllllo!!

I am 15 Months Old!  I am really turning into a big boy and I'm focusing on all the little details in life.  This past month I have really been working on my fine motor skills.  I love helping Mommy turn on the light switches and getting the filter and coffee beans to help make her coffee.  Mommy needs her morning coffee you know.

I am really getting the hang of sign language along with saying the words.  I have added a few more signs (Sit, Please, Thank You). I am finding that when I sign Please, I get what I want.  So, you know....I USE it A LOT!

We have been a little sad this month.  Putt Putt is up in heaven.  I have been looking at his pictures and asking Mommy where he is.  I miss him.  We all miss him.  So, Mommy put a lot of pictures in my photo album so that she can tell me lots of stories to remember him.  He was a good boy.  Mommy doesn't have to worry.  I know I wasn't her first baby, but I will always protect her.  I Promise!

Mommy said that we didn't take a lot of pictures this month. Mostly because sitting still isn't fun.  So, most photos are when I'm reading a book or having some quiet time.  She keeps saying, CHEESE, so I'm trying to say it and hope I can show you all my teeth I have too!

That's it for note!  I have things to do, people to see...next month we will have photos of our family vacation to Martha's Vineyard!  Yahoooooooooey!  We can't wait...

Love,
Clive
