INTRODUCING MY NEW BABY SISTER!!!!

Hi - We will SOON have to change the blog to the Adventures of Natalie and Clive Newman!  My sister is FINALLY here!  We have been waiting for her for so long and now she has arrived!!!!!

We took one last family photo before Natalie arrived. Mommy always says that I won't remember a time when Natalie wasn't here, so this is proof that it really was just the three of us.  But I am ready!

Natalie Teruko Newman arrived on Friday, June 29th at 8:50 pm.  She weighed more than me at 7 lbs., 14 oz and was 20.5" long.  She had hair just like me too!

So you, may be asking where her name came from.  Natalie was a name that Mommy always liked since she was a little girl.  Teruko was named after Christina's maternal grandmother.  She was very special to Mommy and they always talked about passing her name if she were to have a girl someday and my great-grandmother couldn't be happier to hear that!  Teruko means "shining child" and that couldn't be more fitting!

Daddy was able to tell Mommy that it was a girl!  This whole time it was a surprise!  We were going to be excited either way, but finally knowing was awesome.

Daddy, Kailene and I went to visit Mama and Natalie at the hospital.  I was so excited to see Mama and meet Natalie.  When we arrived, there was a present from Natalie waiting for me!  She gave me a helicopter and a giraffe pillow!  It was so exciting.  I sleep with my pillow every night now.

We had lunch at the hospital and got to hang out for while before I had to go home and take a nap.

2.1 - That's right....we are moving onto decimals!

Hi!  I am TWO years and 1 Month Old or 2.1.  Mommy thinks that is much easier to say.

Extended Family
Daddy's brother Aaron and his girlfriend Stacie and daughter Mackenzie came to visit us from Tennessee.  The DROVE all the way here!  Wow.  Their first stop was our house.  We had a BBQ and had a fun evening with them.  My favorite part was Mackenzie reading books to me.  I miss them and hope that we can see each other again soon.

Kailene
The best babysitter in the world.  She has spent a lot of time with us as we get ready for my new brother or sister to arrive.  She has been a huge help and we are so glad that she's a part of the family.  I love you Kailene!

My most favorite things to do are playing with "lawnmowers" (I have a push car that I pretend is a lawnmower), airplanes and helly-locters.  I really love vacuuming and of course, cooking on his grill.

Daddy cooks a lot on the grill and so do I!  Nonnie got me a great grill and I love cooking on it!  So far I make vegetables and burgers on the grill and sometimes eggs and ice cream.

Music, Music, Music!  I looooove anything to do with music.  I got a great gift for my birthday and I love playing my guitar.

Happy Daddy's Day - We celebrated my awesome Daddy in June.  We spent the morning with one of our favorite family's, the Panichella's!  We had breakfast together and played outside.  I have been spending a lot more time with my Daddy and I LOVE IT!

Funny Clive-isms
  • Here are a few things that Mommy calls Clive-isms.  Just things that make me, ME!
  • I have decided to call Mommy, Mama
  • I like to make up my own songs.  This month I made up a song about a weedwacker.  I even do it with a country twang!
  • I am really talking in full sentences.  One of our family favorites is: "Mommy, I can't hear you.  The lawnmower is very loud."

That's all for now!  I can't wait to tell you all about our new baby!

Love,
Clive
