I'm TWO Months NEW!

Hi Everyone! I am TWO Whole Months New! That's right...56 days old I have under my belt in this big world.

I can do sooooo much: I can cry (a lot if I have to), smile, giggle a little, drool, make spit bubbles, reach for my favorite toys and sometimes grab onto one of them. I can coo, hold my head up for almost 10 minutes, look from left to right...the list goes on. I am such a big boy and Mommy and Daddy are so proud of what I can do already. I am sleeping a little bit longer, so that gives Mommy and Daddy a little more rest. I don't really like sleeping on my back, but maybe it will get better soon. I would much rather sleep with Mommy in her bed. It's so much more comfy!

I am looking forward to this next week. It's Mommy & Daddy's One Year Wedding Anniversary and my first Fourth of July! It will be so nice to share it with them.

Can't wait to share all the fun festivities with you soon.

Love, Clive

I'm Seven Weeks Old...and I LOVE My Daddy!!!

Hi Everyone! This week was a momentous week. I turned Seven Weeks Old AND it as Father's Day. Two big celebrations! This week I have really been taking in the world around me....I want to see everything, so I've decided I really need to hold my head up! Boy, you can see so much more! I have really been enjoy tummy time too! I'm up to almost 10 minutes now.

I have also noticed two big furry things and Mommy told me that they are a part of our family! I have two instant best friends already! I don't know if Putter & Derby feel that way about me, but I love them and can't wait to play with them! Derby already thinks my toys are hers, so I should have the advantage with her. Mommy has been playing lots of fun games with me and I've enjoy it so much. So, I thought I would share some of my silly faces with you during play time.

This week was in celebration of the best Daddy in the whole world, MY DADDY! I love when he helps take care of me and I'm getting used to a bottle he gives me every day now. He also rubs my head and it tickles so good...So I always give him a smile to show him how much I love it. We spent the afternoon with Daddy's best friend and his family. We had such a fun time and I can't wait to spend more time with Audrey and she can show me all the ropes of being a big kid.

When I was 3 weeks old, Mommy & I snuck out and got my handprints and footprints done for his gift. He liked it very much and they were so impressed with how much my hands and feet have grown already! I look forward to doing so many fun things with Daddy for years to come. I love you, Daddy!

I hope all of you Daddy's had a great day being celebrated with your family.

I'll talk to you all next week when I'm TWO MONTHS OLD! YAY!

Love,
Baby Clive

I'm Six Weeks Old!

Hi Everyone! Sorry, this is late, but I wanted to still share with everyone that I turned 42 days old. This week has been really fun.

I am really starting to hold my head up! I love to look around and see the big world around me. There is so much to see. I especially love looking at Mommy and Daddy when they sing and make funny faces at me. My next favorite thing to see is the ceiling fan. I can look at it for hours.

I LOVE TO SMILE! I love when Daddy comes home from work. We miss him all day, so I save up my big smiles for him. They giggle at me and then I smile some more! It's so much fun.

I have officially reached double-digits. I weigh 10 lbs, 2.5 oz. I no longer fit into my newborn clothes anymore, so mommy has to pull out more of my adorable clothes that are bigger.

I have also been meeting new friends and going to a fun playgroup where I get to meet other kids my age. It's been a lot of fun and I can't wait to play with all of my new friends again soon.

Oh and I've been working really hard at helping Mommy sleep more. I do sleep a little bit longer which hopefully is giving Mommy a little more rest. I still get really hungry at 4am, but once I get a little bigger, I'll be able to sleep more. I promise, Mommy!

I can't wait to tell you more about this weekend...we get to celebrate Daddy's first Father's Day.

Oh and you may be wondering how Putter and Derby are doing. They are bumming out a little that they don't get all of the attention, but soon I'll be able to play with them more and we'll be best friends. Derby has been a little naughty and taking some of my toys and blankets outside to get Mommy's attention. I know we are all getting used to me being around, but they'll realize how fun I really am!

Happy Father's Day to all of the Dad's out there.

Love, Clive

My New Friends!

Hi Everyone! I met so many new friends last week! Mommy has been telling me all about them, but I finally was able to meet them all. I can't wait until I'm old enough to really be able to play with everyone and all of the cool toys. Mommy's friend Sayra hosted all of us and there was a ton of food and lots of toys for everyone to play with. Most of my friends ended up running around in the yard in just their diapers and playing in the pool and on the swing set. It looked like so much fun. I had a blast watching everyone. I can't wait until our next play date. I will be able to bring my smile and hopefully a giggle!

I'm Five Weeks Old!

Hey Everyone! I am Five Weeks Old! Every week gets more and more fun. I know Mommy has been a little tired, but she had me try this thing called a bottle. It's not the same as being with Mommy, but it helps her get a little break and some extra sleep. The good part is that I can hang out with Daddy when I have a bottle. That's extra special, so I don't mind that. Don't tell Mommy, but he watches recordings of Cops and sings the theme song to me. I think it's funny.

My umbilical cord finally came off! It took a little longer than usual, but the Doctor said it was fine. So, that meant I got to take my first real bath! It was so much fun and I didn't even cry. I love bath-time so far!

I'm also starting to smile. It's not always planned, but when I see Mommy and Daddy, they make me so happy with their funny faces and I feel so loved, that I just can't help but give them a big smile. I can't wait to smile at YOU!

Oh and at my last appointment, I weighed 9 lbs, 10 oz. I'm right on track and average for my age! So far, so great!

Can't wait to tell you about the rest of our week.

Love,
Clive

There once was a Princess named Morgan...

There once was a Princess named Morgan, who lived in a far off town called Holden...She is known to be smart, pretty, the life of the party, oh-so-helpful and has a smile to melt any one's heart. Well, Mommy took me on a nice drive to meet her for the first time last week! We had so much fun and I can't wait until I grow up and can do more things with Morgan. She didn't seem to mind that I was so little. Mommy and Emily (Princess Morgan's Mom) were spying on us when we weren't looking and caught a glimpse of Princess Morgan matching her feet up against mine. She couldn't believe how little I was! She was really sweet to me and I know that we will be great friends just like Mommy and Emily.

So why is she called Princess Morgan you ask?!?! Well because she is! We also brought her some beautiful sun dresses to enjoy the warm summer days. She held them up and said she wanted to wear a Princess dress! So of course, that means she really IS a Princess! And boy is she a wonderful one!

I love you Morgan and I can't wait to play with you again very soon!

Happy Memorial Day Great Bubbe! Happy Birthday, Aunt Callie!

Monday, we went to visit my Great Grandmother. It was a nice warm day, so we thought we could bring her outside and we could have a nice visit. We had a really good time and she asked to hold me because I was crying. Mommy and Nonnie helped me so I could sit in her lap. She was so happy to hold me and said how big I was!

Here are a few pics of our extra special visit. There are four generations of our family which is so cool.

Monday was my Aunt Callie's birthday! I haven't met her in person yet, but I can't wait to see her soon. I love you Aunt Callie!!!

Enjoy!

Love,
Clive
