14 Months - I'm an EXPLORER!

Hi Everyone - I'm sorry I've been a bit behind, but we have been having such a busy summer!  If you were to sum up my 14th Month, it's been all about EXPLORING!  We have gone to lots of new places and each destination has been filled with fun.  Even though I still love to go to the grocery store and costco with Daddy, I have a few added favorites.

1)  EXPLORING THE ZOO - We went with our friends the MacKinnon's to our first trip to Franklin Park Zoo.  We saw a Mama and Baby Gorilla, Lion, Birds, Giraffes and so many more animals...I have read about them in books and have learned to make their sounds, but it was so cool to SEE them.  I had such a blast and my friend Joey was a great wagon buddy.

2)  EXPLORING Water - I LOVE playing with water.  For my birthday, Nonnie got me this great water table.  I have had so much fun splashing, floating my toys and pouring water on my belly.  It's been fun with the hot summer days to cool off. 

3)  EXPLORING the OCEAN!  We went for my first real trip to the beach as a toddler.  We went last year when I was a little baby, but this was even better!  I was able to say hello to our neighbors on the beach and play with my sand toys.  When we arrived at the beach, I ran straight for the water!  The cold waves didn't scare me at all!  I kept slipping and sliding and giggled every time.  I also tried to see how the sand tasted.  I said  "Mmmmm...," but Mommy said, "Yuck!"  Oh well, I had to try it and see for myself.  I had fun playing chase with Mommy.  Daddy helped me make sand hills too!  I had such a fun day!  I even took a 3 hour nap.  Mommy and Daddy loved that!

CLIMB, EXPLORE, PLAY!!!!!!!!! 13 MONTHS, HOORAY!!!

Hi Everyone - My 13th Month was a busy one.  So much happened....so let me show you a few pictures and tell you all about it!

1)  The Bruins won the Stanley Cup!  Go Bruins!  The Cup is supposed to come to Mommy's office, so I can't wait to touch it in person!  I was trying to act like a goalie! 

2)  I learned to CLIMB:  On to a  box to look out the window, a chair, a full flight of stairs and anything that looks worthy of climbing on. 

3)  It's all about PLAY!!  I love to play with my friends, Mommy, Daddy, Putter and Derby!  Our summer has been off to a really fun start!

I SERIOUSLY love my neighborhood playground!  Morgan came with me to play, it was so fun!

 

 

 

I have a new obsession with noses.  I will touch your nose too!

Music is my new obsession!  I LOVE to Dance, Dance, Dance!

4)  I LOVE my DAAA.....DEE!  We wished him a Happy Father's Day.  We went to a nice brunch.  I can't wait for Daddy to teach me to play lacrosse with the new Daddy and Me set I got for him.

5)  Mommy's 2 Best Boys - Putter was taking a rest outside on a nice summer day.  So Mommy and I sat down next to him and took a photo.  We won't realize how special this photo will be for us someday. 

6)  I am also what my Mommy calls a chatterbox.  I love to talk.  I hope that you will visit us so I can tell you all about what I'm up to all by myself!!

Mom's Group and Babies Celebrate!

Hi Everyone ! We were all looking forward to celebrating our first birthdays together.  We all met when we were newborns and since then, we have all become friends:  Moms, Dads and Babies!  Now we are all toddlers!  We had such a fun day playing, eating and enjoying a beautiful day.  I can't wait until we can all get together again soon!  Toddler-dom, here I COME!!!!!!!!!!!

To all the single ladies out there....

Uh-Uh-Ohhhhh-Oh-Oh!  I LOVE DANCING!  Mommy and I dance all the time and I love to wave my hands when I dance.  Mommy says it's my signature move.  Not sure what that means, but it makes her laugh and smile.  My favorite song right now is Single Ladies.  I first listened to it at school.  The Chipettes sing this song for kids, but you might know the one that Beyonce Knowles sings.  It's really catchy.

First Steps

Hi Friend & Family - I am finally starting to catch up with my posts on what I've been up to.  This post is a special one.  On May 14th, I took my first steps!  Mommy was a little worried that she would be away on her trip to China and that she would miss seeing me walk.  Well, I hope she knows that I wouldn't let her miss this!  I had been gearing up to walk, but I wasn't quite ready.  I was exploring our staircase and was hanging onto the side of the bannister.  I saw Mommy, turned around and walked over to her!  It was SOOOOO cool.  I couldn't believe it!  I spent my whole weekend practicing walking with Mommy and Daddy.  They were so proud of me.

So that means that I am officially a TODDLER!!!!!!!!!

I'm ONE!

Hi Everyone!  I turned 365 Days Old on May 1st!  I am officially ONE!  It has been an amazing year.  I have the best family.  Mommy, Daddy, Derby and Putter love me so much.  We do everything together and I'm so lucky we are a family.

We had the BEST birthday party!  We LOVE breakfast, so we served lots of yummy breakfast food.  Mommy and Daddy even set up a waffle station.  Everyone liked it.  They were so yummy!  We also made it a pajama party.  So we could all relax and be comfortable.  We had a small party with a few friends and family.  We also had a special guest:  A balloon maker!  She could make anything out of balloons. She made me a Duck (my favorite animal) and Curious George.  Everyone enjoyed their special balloons.  It was a wonderful day and I was so glad to share it with everyone even though I wasn't feeling so well.

Here are a few pictures of everyone enjoying our balloon maker!  We had ladybug corsages, fish, crowns, swords, cars, crabs and more!  She was amazing!

We also had an amazing birthday cake.  I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I gave it a pat and took a lick of the icing.  It was really yummy.  I just liked the monkey on the cake.  (oooh, oooh, ahhh, ahhh, ahh)

Thanks to everyong making me feel special on my birthday.  I am so glad to be here in the world with all of you.  I can't wait to share so many more memories with all of you.
