Two, Four, Six, EIGHT MONTHS!!!!

That's right!  I am EIGHT months old!  Time really truly flies.  This months is all about TEETHING!  If I can lift it and put it in my mouth, I'm going to chew on it!  So far, my two bottom teeth and my two top teeth are making their way in.  I haven't been too fussy as long as I have some chewy toys.

Clivey is teaching me lots of words.  Today, he was teaching me how to say all of my body parts.  He was showing me my "head."  I couldn't say it, but he was making me laugh as he was trying to teach me.  What a good big brother he is!

We went on my first trip to the park so I could SWING!  I loved it!  I loved kicking my feet while I was in the swing.  It was a little chilly, but I loved getting some fresh air and watching all of the friends at the park.  I can't wait to have fun this summer with Clive at our neighborhood park!

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Nose....Yummy!  Clive and I both had love teething on Daddy's nose!  So silly!

Clivey loves to make a mountain of pillows in the living room.  So, Mommy put me right in the middle of the mountain.  It was the best idea yet!  YAY!

My hair is really starting to get thicker and grow out longer...Mommy tried putting in my first clip to hold some of my hair back.  Not too shabby, eh?  I think I clean up pretty nicely if I do say so myself!

I love going to school!  I am really starting to have fun with my new friends.

I was going to visit Mommy at work to meet her friends from Crabtree & Evelyn.  We thought a tutu was the perfect outfit to make a proper introduction!

Like I said, if I can lift it and fit in my mouth, it IS a chewy toy!

I love snuggling with Daddy!

Happy 8th Month to me!!!

Happy Birthday to Daddy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!  We love you!!!

We had a great day planned for Daddy.  We brought him balloons and Nonnie brough cupcakes to celebrate.

I asked Mommy to take me to Walgreen's to get Daddy a present.  I gave Daddy sunscreen.  We will get to go swimming soon, so we need lots of sunscreen.

We hung decorations to really make it a party!

Daddy isn't big on celebrations, but I think he was pretty happy to celebrate it with us.  Plus, this was his first birthday with Natalie!  She gave him lots of big smiles!

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Love,
Clive & Natalie

My SEVENTH Month....Sitting Pretty!

January 29th marks my 7th month!

I am really starting to recognize the world around me.  If I can reach it, I will try to grab it!  Mommy says that I'm getting really fast at it too!  So far, I have knocked over a day's worth of formula (whoops!), Mommy's morning coffee and Clive's breakfast.  What can I say?  Maybe you shouldn't let me sit on the counter and  hang out anymore.

I love my big brother.  Everything he does, makes me laugh!  Mommy caught this video of Clive making me laugh so much.

My hair is starting to grow in a bit more too!  Check out a few photos of my pretty locks.  Mommy said that she will look for some new hair clips for me.  I think I have just enough to hold my hair!

I am enjoying school.  My teachers Christina and Caitlyn take good care of me.  My sleeping schedule is a little out of whack, but Mommy is working very hard to get my schedule back on track. Mommy always looks out for me!

I enjoy playing with my toys and if I can bang something I love it!  I also love to shake anything to see if it makes a fun noise.  Mommy has shown me a mirror and I love to look at this adorable friend on the other side.  She is so cute and always smiling at me!  It makes me so excited that bounce up and down!

SCHOOL DAYS...A few photos of me before we leave for school.  I am actually NOT wearing jammies!

I am starting to sprout two teeth!  If you notice my rosy cheeks, that is a sign that I am teething.  So far, I haven't been too cranky.  Just a little here and there.   As long as I have something to chew on, I am good!

That's all for now!  I look forward to sharing more about MY ADVENTURES with you soon!

Love is in the air!

Happy Valentine's Day, Everyone!

We don't make a big deal about this holiday, but we wear our red and tell each other we love them.  Clivey and I especially love our Mommy and Daddy and Derby.  Of course we love our family and friends too.  We just wanted to share our love with you today!

Happy Birthday, Nonnie!

Today is our Nonnie's Birthday!  We love celebrating birthdays, but this is extra special!  She is our Nonnie and we love her so much!

We started off our day baking our cupcakes.  I did a good job mixing.

Then Mommy let me use a knife to frost!
Can you tell which ones I frosted
and sprinkled?

So, when Nonnie came over, we gave her a special handmade card, cupcakes and present.

Nonnie was extra happy this year because she was able to celebrate it with her new granddaughter!  Nonnie loves us both so very much and we love her right back.  We all sang Happy Birthday to her.

We ended our visit with cuddles on the couch.  We love you Nonnie and hope that your wish comes true this year!

Love always,
Clive & Natalie

The Storm of February 8, 2013

So, we aren't sure if it qualified as a technical "BLIZZARD," but 25 INCHES of snow in one day counts in our book!  School and work was cancelled, so we all stayed home.  We needed to be safe and off of the roads.

Mommy was well prepared and set up some painting.  It was really cool because I was able to paint and watch all the snow falling down outside.  It was really fun!

Nonnie also came over before it started snowing too much.  I really love playing the guitar, so she was showing me how to hold it.  I love my Nonnie.

Once all the snow had stopped, we decided to go outside ad check it out!  There was so much snow.  It took Daddy all morning, just to dig his car out.  Once he was able to move his car out and make a path out the front door, we were able to go outside!  Mommy bundled me up really well and I was ready to go.

Since the sun was shining and it wasn't too cold, we brought Natalie out too!  Natalie looked like a little Eskimo.  She really liked being outside and checking out all the snow!

Daddy found a cool spot of snow, where we were able to climb up and sit on it like a bench!

CHEESE!

Check out Natalie and I going for a little sled ride together.  It was really fun!

2.9....Yep, we are almost to THREE!

I am 2.9...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?!  I am really coming into my own and I am quite independent these days.  Lately, I really enjoy being silly!  I am really good at making Natalie laugh.  I can make Daddy and Mommy laugh too.

Derby feels like she doesn't get as much attention these days, so here is proof that we do love her and play with her whenever we can.  Derby really loves Natalie too.  She is so sweet and gentle to her.

Lately, I have been having fun making silly faces.  Mommy tells me that finding a fun or silly way is always easier to do....well just about Everything!  So, here is one of my silly faces I was making at Mommy to make her laugh...it WORKED!

Since I was a baby, I have always loved music.  Mommy is right, it is just in my bones.  Here is a silly video of my doing my best air guitar!

As far as favorite things these days...well, let's see!  I love to sing Old MacDonald, ABCs, Aloha Friday (song from school we sing on Fridays) and songs from my Music Together Class.

I love to read about Curious George, Llama Llama and Good Night Good Night Construction Site.

I used to love eating Avocado, but these days, not so much.  I much rather eat hard boiled eggs, smoked salmon, mushrooms, asparagus, carrots and cheese.  I have also been learning to make burritos and tacos.  It works out well since lately I like ot have things on the side, so I can put it together myself.

Well, that's about it for now...until the next adventure!

Love,
Clive
