2.0 Update

So now that you have heard all about my TWO YEAR Birthday Party, I thought I would tell you about some other fun adventures in May!

My latest and favorite books to read were Charlie the Ranch Dog and How does a Dinosaur Play with this friends.

I am really talking in sentences now.  Some things I have been talking to Mommy and Daddy about are:
1.  I need space
2.  Come here, Mama.
3.  Wanna see?
4.  I'll show you

We also celebrated Mother's Day!  I love my Mommy, to the Moon and BACK!  She takes good care of me and even though our new baby is coming, she still always makes me feel special.

Daddy and I have been spending more time together too!  One of my favorite things to do with Daddy is FLYING!

We also took a fun trip to Castle Island.  Daddy used to come here when he was little, so it's really fun that we can all go as a family now.  We saw some of my favorite things:  Boats, Airlplanes, Kites and a PARK!  We had such a fun day!

One of my MOST favorite things to do is Vacuum!  I love it so much and I ask to use it to help Mommy and Daddy every day.

That's right, everyone I'm TWO!

May has been a great month!!!  Mommy and Daddy decorated the house and got me balloons.  We started my day with a family celebration at breakfast.  Mommy said that I should start of my day and feel special all day long.  Daddy cooked one of my favorites and we had pancakes!  YUMMMMM.....

At school, we celebrated my birthday, too!  I brought birthday hats for everyone and we all helped to make cupcakes.  Mommy came for a surprise visit and we all sang Happy Birthday to Clive.  It was so fun!

After school, Nonnie came to visit.  She brought me a present and a fun card.  We had dessert and sang "Happy Birthday" again!  I love singing Happy Birthday!

My Aunties gave me great presents!  I love my school bus.  Thank you Auntie Callie and Larry for my school bus and thank you Auntie Casie and Uncle Wilfredo for my water table.  Both are AWESOME!!!

We also had my Birthday Breakfast Party!  It was a transportation theme since right now I love school buses, helly-loc-ters, fire trucks and police cars.  We invited our closest friends and family to celebrate with us.  We had so much fun!  Thank you everyone (near and far) for making my birthday so special.  I love you all!

I'm 23 Months! All ABOARD!!!!

Hi Friends and Family - I know that it's been awhile since I've posted.  We have some catching up to.  We have been super busy. We are having a baby in June, so we have slowed down and focusing on getting ready for my new brother or sister that is going to be here soon.  Mommy says that we will start getting ready after my Birthday.  She wants me to feel special since I'm going to be TWO next month!

I really love trains!  My friend Jack at school was teaching me all about how to make a train at home.  I link up all the chairs so we can ride it like a train.  So, when Nonnie and Steve came to visit, we decided to make a train, sing songs and go for a ride.  Woo!  Woo!  All Aboard!!!!

In addition to my usual favorite songs, I like singing Open, Shut Them and the Tiny Turtle song.  My teachers Meg and Gail teach us new songs and those are really fun!  We also have been celebrating a lot of birthdays, so that is a fun song to sing too!

The Easter bunny came to our house!  I got a cool basket shaped like a baseball, with lots of fun stickers and toys.  I decided to put my egg stickers on my cheeks!  I'm so silly!

One of my other favorite things to do is to take a drive to Boston.  We say hi to the sea lions at the Aquarium, we walk down the pier where we can see the airplanes leaving the airport and all of the boats in the harbor.  Afterwards, we usually go to the park to play.  It's a fun way to spend the day and just like Mommy and Daddy, I LOVE to be near the water!

We've had quite a bit of rain in April.  I didn't mind because I get to wear a RAINCOAT and BOOTS! 

It has been a long time since I've seen my friend Morgan!  I was SO excited to see her.  We had a fun morning playing together.  I wish I could see her more often, but hopefully we will see each other more this summer.

I can't wait to post next month.  I'm turning TWO and we have such a fun party planned!  YAY!

22 Months!!!! - Spring is Officially Here!

Hi Everyone - Happy Spring!  We have been so happy to know that we have really been able to enjoy the weather this winter.  Spring is officially here, so Mommy put away all of my winter boots and coats.  She was saying that it was a good thing because her belly is getting to big big to wear her coat.

In the month of March, we have been going on lots of walks and playing outside.  I love helping Daddy and taking Derby for walks.  Daddy lets me hold Derby's leash and walk her around the block.  Derby is very gentle and does a good job with going slow.

We also celebrated Daddy's birthday!  Mommy and Daddy were so amazed that I can sing the WHOLE SONG!  We wore birthday hats, gave Daddy fun presents to enjoy the outdoors and had cupcakes!  I don't really like sweets, so mommy got me a tiny carrot cake cupcake and that was pretty good.

In terms of what I'm into these days...I still love music, singing and dancing.  I really love singing Ring around the Rosy, Wheels on the Bus and Hokey Pokey.  Riding my bike and truck is really fun too!  I LOVE HELICOPTERS!  My friend Cooper let me borrow this t-shirt and I love it! Mommy helps me find helly-lee-locters up in the sky!  If we're lucky, we'll find one!!!

21 Months! The left-handed, exploring, (no I can do it all myself) toddler!

Hi Everyone!  Happy 21 Months to me, Clive!

It was a really nice month of February here in New England.  It has NEVER been this warm and I just lucked out because I was able to do a lot of playing outside.

This month, I still keep reminding Mommy and Daddy that I can do things all by myself.  As a result, I got my first "Owie" that required a band-aid.

I love painting at school and I'm really getting good at not licking the paint.  Sometimes, I still can't help it, but I'm much better!  Mommy and Daddy have also noticed that I've been favoring my left hand.  We'll have to see if it sticks!

We also celebrated Nonnie's birthday.  Nonnie and Steve came over and made them a delicious breakfast.  We also sang Happy Birthday, too!  I love singing Happy Birthday, especially for my Nonnie!

We also celebrated Valentine's Day.  Mommy and I wore our red.  I love my Mommy!  We made cake pops for each of our friends and teachers at school.  They were yummy!


 

Lately, I have been enjoying crawling through my tunnel, wearing hats and just being silly!  I still love running laps around the staircase with Daddy and playing peek-a-boo.

I still love singing Wheels on the Bus and one of my new favorites is singing Ring a Round the Rosie!  My friends at school will hold hands and sing with me!
