CA BOUND!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with family and friends.  I took my first trip to CA where I was able to meet my Mommy's family.  We had so much fun!  Everyone was so warm and loving.  I wish we could have stayed longer and can only hope that I can see them all again.

Mommy & Daddy said I was a GREAT traveler.  I did well on the plane and for traveling 3,000 miles, they were SO PROUD!  I even did well with changing time zones in CA and on the way back.  Mommy and Daddy were so impressed that they started talking about going on an island vacation next year!  Yahoooo!

Auntie Callie & Uncle Larry were so gracious and let us stay with them.  They were great hosts and let us set up whatever we needed to make us feel at home.  They even kept the heat on for us which was a first for them!  We had so much fun with them and look forward to staying with them again.  I love you guys!

I finally was able to meet my Nana and Papa!  I have been hearing so many stories about them, but seeing them and getting hugs from them in person was way better!  We hope they will be visiting us soon. Plus, Mommy enjoyed that Papa was happy to change his diapers anytime I needed it.

Spending time with Uncle Wilfredo and Auntie Casie was really special.  Uncle Fredo was on leave from Iraq, so we were so lucky that we were able to spend time with them!  They played with me and made me laugh so much.  I love them very much and hope Uncle Fredo will come home safely and soon.

We also spent some time doing some of Mommy's favorite things when she's visiting home:  We went to all of her favorite places to eat and went for nice walks by the ocean.  My most favorite thing we did was go the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  Mommy told me that she used to work there.  How lucky was she?  I was in awe at all of the cool penguins, sea otters and jellyfish.  I can't wait to go back!

We also went to Fisherman's Wharf.  It's where they make the most delicious Clam Chowder (yes it's better than New England!).  We saw all of the cool sailboats and could hear all of the sea lions barking.

The most special day was Thanksgiving.  There was a full house and we were able to share this day all together.  We had so much food and my Nana made her famous mashed potatoes.  I even got to try them and they were delicious!  I loved spending time with my extended family.  We just need to live closer!

Yes, I have a turkey on my bum!

I am thankful for all of you!

I'm 6 Months Old! - Teething, Sitting Up & Grabbing Anything!

Oh Yeah...I'm Half a Year Old!  I am a little behind on my updates, but better later than never!

Can you believe it?!?!  6 Months Old!  Mommy and Daddy can't believe how quickly it has gone by.  At my 1/2 Year mark, I've been all about sitting!  I love to sit up!  You can see so much more of the world around you.  For me, that means I can really watch Putter and Derby.  They are so interesting to watch.

Now that I can sit up, that means I can really start reach and grabbing for things.  Which of course, it all goes in my mouth.  My toes, my hands, any toy, blanket...if I can reach it, I'm going to chew on it!

If you look really close, you'll see a TOOTH!  One on the bottom and another one on the way!  Mommy says that we are going to try some real food.  I can't wait.  I love to EAT!!!!

That's it for now!

Fall Pumpkins & My First Halloween!

Hey Everyone!  I am so sorry that I have dropped off the radar.  We have been so busy and I told Mommy that people were probably wondering what we've been up to.  I convinced her that we need to catch up on the latest and greatest, so I will be posting a lot of fun updates this week!  I promise.

The Fall Season is so much fun and one of the most fun things we did was meet with my friends and practice wearing our Halloween outfits.  Even the dads came too, so it was a really fun family day.  We went to Honey Pot Hill in Stow, MA.  It was a beautiful day filled with farm animals, pumpkins and cider donuts.  Oh yeah.

We did some pumpkin carving too!  I loved playing with my pumpkin.  Mommy & Daddy carved the pumpkins.  Which one do you like the best?

I was in my first PARADE!  The Daycare Center had a Halloween Parade and we went on a fun walk with all 60 kids over to Mommy's office.  They had balloons, Halloween decorations and music.  The bigger kids were able to trick or treat.  I can't wait until I get to do that too!   There were so many people waving and clapping.  Everyone thought my costume was the perfect choice (thanks Cooper!).  I loved being Puppy Clive.  I even had the whiskers and nose!

What a fun Month!  Wait until you hear about our November!

Stay tuned for more updates this week.

I'm 5 Months Old!

Hey Everyone!  Can you believe it?!!?  I am 5 Months Old!  I am such a big boy now.  This has been a big month so far and full of so much fun.  All the Moms and Dads like to talk about their babies and how they eat, sleep and poop.  So I think this go around, we can just talk about eating and sleeping.  Plus, I have more FUN to share with you, so who cares about the poop!?!?!

Eating is my new favorite thing!  So far, I love peas, carrots, pear along with my oatmeal.  I'm still deciding on avocado.  I didn't like sweet potato very much. It made my tummy upset.  So, we are going to give it a rest and try it again later and see what happens.  We are going to try squash, green beans and prunes this month, so I can't wait.  Mommy even gives me a spoon of my own.  I like to put in my mouth.  Soon, I think I can practice feeding myself.  She even does a funny dance and we laugh and giggle when we have breakfast and lunch.

I welcomed my 5 month mark by being a solid 12 hour sleeper!  Mommy was hoping I would be more of a 7am to 7pm sleeper, but I do so much all day, that I'm really sleepy by 6-6:30.  I just remind Mommy how I used to wake up ever 2-3 hours, so 12 hours in a row, is a big deal for me (no matter what time it is!)!  I loooooooove to sleep on my belly.  Mommy and Daddy get worried sometimes because I bonk my head on the crib, but I am just getting used to all of this room I have to roll around.

I turned 5 months old in Tennessee!  I took my first plane trip to meet my Grandfather and my aunt, uncle and cousin!  Mommy and Daddy were so proud of me.  The plane had good white noise and helped me sleep.  I did a good job cuddling with my family, seeing the sights and going to new restaurants.  We had a great time and now we will be ready for our first cross country trip to CA during Thanksgiving.

What else!?!?  I am really working on sitting up!  I am a little wobbly, but I'm getting the hang of it.  I really want to sit up because I can see Putter and Derby and I can watch them so much more if I was sitting.  So I'll keep practicing.

I am really ticklish...especially my ribs.  Mommy makes me laugh all of the time by tickling me.  But I don't mind...

And my new favorite game? Daddy playing peek-a-boo with me!  It makes me laugh so much. He is so funny.

Whew, that was a lot!  I hope you enjoyed my updates...I'll post something again soon, I promise!
